Carer R 85

The Carer R 85 is a heavyweight contender in the electric forklift sector. It boasts a significant load capacity of 8.5 t, making it an ideal choice for demanding environments where lifting heavy loads is a regular requirement. With a broad stance and measuring 1660 mm in width, it is robust yet agile, courtesy of its tight turning radius of just 1.3 m. The R 85's lifting capabilities are highlighted by its impressive lift height of over 3.5 m, and its energy is supplied by an 80 V battery system. Dual motor power, with 22 kW for traction and 21 kW for hoisting, ensures strong performance. It commenced production in 1996, offering state-of-the-art electric forklift technology until the end of its production in 2012.
