The Caterpillar M 100 D SA is an electric counterbalance forklift that featured a significant load capacity of 5 t suitable for various industrial applications. Its compact design with a centre of gravity at 600 mm enhanced stability during operations. Equipped with a traction motor of 18.2 kW powered by an 80 V battery it provided adequate power to handle demanding tasks. It ran on standard SE 4 tyres that offered good traction and durability. Notably, it had a very short production span in 1996, which could make it a rarity in the material handling equipment market.
