Claas Scorpion 7040

Introduced in 2007, the Claas Scorpion 7040 telehandler was a versatile machine offering substantial lift and reach capabilities. With a nominal load at its centre of gravity (COG) of 4 tonnes and a maximum lifting height of 7.1 m, it was well-suited to heavy-duty tasks. It offered a horizontal reach of 3.75 m, allowing for a capacity of 1.2 tonnes at full forward extension. Noteworthy was its travel speed of up to 40 km/h, making it an efficient choice for movement of goods. Its transport dimensions and Deutz engine with 88 kW power were matched with a Stage III B emission level, reflecting a balance between performance and environmental consideration. It ceased production in 2014.
