Clark CEM 12 X
The Clark CEM 12 X is an electric forklift designed to combine function and form in a compact package. Starting production in 1997, it served various industries until 2003. With a nominal load capacity of 1.25 t, this forklift was adept at handling tasks where finesse is more important than brute strength. Its COG at 500 mm and the inclusion of standard SE tyres hinted at solid stability and grip. The electric drive allowed for smoother operation and a quieter workplace, with a decent hoist motor power of 10 kW and a traction motor pushing 10.4 kW. The use of a 48 V battery system provided the necessary energy, while keeping the battery weight to a measured 1.174 t within its weight of almost 3 t.
