The Kalmar EFA 40/08/40 is an electric-powered, multi directional forklift designed for efficient material handling. With a nominal load capacity of 4 tonnes and a focus on reliability and versatility, this model was well-suited for a variety of applications. Its compact size and impressive lift capacity made it popular among warehouses and industries where space is at a premium but heavy loads still need to be transported. The electric power source provided a cleaner alternative to traditional diesel-powered forklifts, reducing emissions in indoor environments. The forklift featured standard polyurethane tyres, optimal for smooth industrial floors, and a modest traction motor power. It started production in 1996, offering substantial lifting capability and manoeuvrability until the end of its production in 1999.
