The Kalmar EFY 40/10/40 E is an electric multi-directional forklift designed for agile handling and manoeuvrability in confined spaces. With a nominal load capacity of 4 t and operating on standard V-tires, it accommodates various warehouse operations efficiently. Its center of gravity is optimised at 500 mm, ensuring stability during lifts. The forklift is powered by an 80 V battery system, paired with an 8 kW traction motor, delivering consistent performance and lower emissions compared to internal combustion counterparts. Though its production was brief and only in 1996, it set a benchmark for electric multi-directional forklifts of its time.
