The Komatsu FB 20 GH 1 E electric forklift was produced from 1998 to 2000, highlighting a period when electric solutions were gaining traction in material handling. This forklift, with a load capacity of 2 tonnes and featuring solid SE tyres, was designed to handle goods efficiently with a lower environmental impact compared to its internal combustion counterparts. The centred load of gravity and electric drive system ensured smooth operation. It carried an 80 V battery which contributed significantly to its weight and provided adequate power for the traction and hoist motor.
