What is a Simplex Mast?
A simplex mast, characterized by its single ‘stage’ or set of rails, is a type of forklift mast. Its streamlined design offers excellent visibility, making it easier for operators to handle and manoeuvre loads. However, due to its single-stage configuration, the simplex mast typically has a restricted lift height, with most models being able to lift loads to heights less than 10 feet.
Despite this limitation, simplex masts are valued for their simplicity and ease of use, particularly in operations where high lifting heights are not necessary.
